'05 Dodge Dakota Inheritor
Hi everyone:
I just inherited an '05 Dodge Dakota SLT, V8 4×4. Great truck and all, but truly unfortunate as to how I got it, but I'm thankful nevertheless:
Prior to that, the last car I owned was a '99 Toyota Solara SLE, but times got tough and I sold it 2 years ago, so I was busing and hoofing it everywhere until my father passed away in June of this year and I got this truck as a result of inheritance... However, I am having a serious debate of whether to keep it for sentimental reasons, or get something more economical since 14/17 MPG and a 40-mile round trip commute is starting to eat into my savings as I quit an insanely horrible, but slightly better-paying job in April and I am in "survival mode".
Either way, I got a lot to learn about this truck and hope to gain some insight and wisdom about this, and hope to be learning new knowledge from this forum.

Hey Everyone:
Even though I've only spent a month on this forum and only have 6 posts prior to this one, I can see that this forum is very helpful, informative, quick to answer, and everyone seems pretty peaceful... Incidentally, like I said before here, I was going to sell my pop's old truck and have done just that on Saturday, pursued the dream of buying a Bimmer that I had since I was 17 and bought an '06 Bimmer 330xi. Thanks again for everybody's help; keep up the good work.
