Another Newbie To Tease
All ready for the teasing. Also feel free to point & laugh at "Junkyard Jitters", my lo-buck 1977 B200 van project.
If I was unsucessful loading a pic of the van, you can go to: www.cardomain.com/ride/731370 and get your chuckles there.

Thanks everyone for the gracious welcome and for limiting the snickering to your pc screen.
I know my van isn't a nice ride like the other forum people here but has been pretty reliable for a much-abused, 285,000 mile ex-plumbers van that got little or no maintenance. I have been using it as a daily driver for over two years now and have invested about $2,600 total including the $400 purchase price. Insurance on something this old is pretty cheap too, though I'm not crazy about the 15 mpg it gets.
I have been thinking of pulling the current mirrors and adding swan-neck street rod style mirrors at the tops of the doors. Not sure if they will supply enough rear vision though (no windows in rear). I guess I could up the budget a little and add a rear-view camera/motitor set-up.
Like most of the other parts on this beast, the grille was a junkyard find I scored for the princely sum of $16.50. The grille insert I made myself from from baltic birch plywood.
As for paint, after the body is staightened out, and the flares/spoilers and hood scoop are on, it gets a Go-Mango orange paint job with AAR 'Cuda style strobe stripes and Magnum 500's on BFG radials.
