Hey all. my name is Brent, recently turned family man and Dodge Forum's Member. I have always been a big fan and supporter of domestics. While I have much respect for imports, I just couldn't fathom being another sheep. I have always been a speed junkie and always had a taste for rare cars that most street racers would never be caught dead in. LOL, for God's Sake I used to own and 88 Ford Escort with engine and turbo swap.! But you see, most street racers and import racers would look at my car and think, "Damn, look at that P.O.S.!" That was the effect I liked getting out of people I met on the street and shortly after, blow past them in the same P.O.S. Anyways, LOL, enough about Fords! UGH! I just recently purchased a 2003 Dodge Stratus SXT. Loved it! So aggressive looking, had a strong 4 cyclinder and always turned heads. Put minor mods on it, the usual intake, headers, exhaust and electronic ignition upgrade. Not too shaby. Then one day I mysteriously became a family man and had to trade the cumbersome, yet beautiful and sporty 2 door for a 4 door 2004 Chrysler Sebring. The Sebring, being stock, out performed the Stratus stock. Duh! I purchased the 6 cylinder for obvious reasons - wife+kid+grocery's+baby's crap=too much for many 4 cylinder vehicles. I was dead set on owning a Chrysler or Dodge. The SRT-4 was a definite option, but my bank account did not agree. Who would complain about 4 doors, a turbo 4, 5 speed and 0-60 time around 5 seconds. LOL, my friend has an SRT-4 and whenever we hung he was always challenged by people on the street. And he's always laughing at them in his rear view mirror as he's leaving them in the dust.
I like the idea that most of those people are probably thinking,"Damn, I was beat by a Neon." And that's part of the reason why I purchased a Sebring Sedan. I know, I know, it's auto and a "luxury" vehicle. Remeber??? I couldn't afford that SRT-4! So after reading my long bleeding heart story, it was easy for me to find performance parts for my old Stratus, but I NEED HELP FINDING PERFORMANCE AND VISUAL UPGRADES FOR MY 2004 CHRYSLER SEBRING SEDAN. Any help would be great. Even criticism for owning an auto! LOL. Thanks all![&:]

Welcome to DF. This is the place to come for getting ideas, checking out other peoples rides, asking questions and sharing knowledge. Lots of good people here. Glad to have you aboard.

As for an auot, try using a stick in SoCal stop/go/stop traffic and you would wish you had an auto.. Especially as you get older. Enjoying your ride is what it's all about.
