New HEMI owner with lots of ?'s
Hey all,
I am now the proud owner of a 2003 RAM 1500 Quad cab Lareime. With a HEMI of course! Anyway I have heard a few rumors about this truck and was hoping to get some of them answered!
1. Is it true the tranny's stop working right and need service at about 15,000?
2. Is it true that you can pull 1 wire out of the computer and the truck shifts and performs better?
3. Is the computer under the fuse box in the engine bay, or under the dash? (I haven't really gone digging around.. just noticed where the main harness was going.)
4. Has anyone purchased the JET performance parts ECM upgrade????? If so, tell me about it... if not, I will probably give it a try.
