I just inherited my dad's '05 dakota that he never maintained. Found the site while searching for info on rebuilding the engine (when I pulled the valve cover the sludge was over an inch deep, and that was after 2 oil changes with flushes). I work on aircraft currently, but have been an auto mechanic for a while now. My main experience is with GM, but my dad always had dakotas (he bought his first on in '87).
