Hello it is me...
and I am pretty new to this forum!
The story:
I am from germany and have been travelling thru africa for some nice trips in the last ten years. We are driving Toyota LandCruisers since 1987, and are completly happy with this cars. Now, for the next years we are thinking about maybe travelling thru the americas, just to see a bit more of our planet. The idea is to buy a Dodge Ram with Cummins Diesel with a camper box in the back. (This is maybe one of the first questions in this forum: May I find a camper box wich is fitted right to
the frame of the truck, or are there "only" this slide in boxes, standing in the bed?)
That´s it for the first time, please excuse my poor english.

the only campers that i have seen on a ram were the slide in units, but i have also never really hunted around for a direct fit/bed replacement unit.

I'm not too sure about the camper issue either...I'm usually putting up a tent when I go someplace
