Hi my name is eddie im 16 years old and im from a town in the middle of nowhere in eastern TN. I have been brought up in a house full of motorheads and am finally old enough to start my first build. I just had a bad accident with my 1998 2 door DOHC neon, which is a minor set back (but a good reason for a body kit and some rims) I plan on using my finished product neon as a show car/autocrosser/daily driver I recently added a post to the 1st gen neon forum and would like for some people to let me no what worked with them for their neons. Im a extremly good mechanic and have a passion for building cars. But limited funds for my race car so everything will have to be done in segments but as soon as i get a digital camera i will send pics of the progress on my car.

well thanks for letting me talk and i hope i get some help on my build (all this passion and im not sure how to apply it)

Hey man welcome to DF!! Good to see you got a good hobbie at your age! Sounds like you got good stuff in common with your family as well; so those will be some good "bonding" moments. Take care and pick the brains of all the Neon folks on this board because they are willing to share! Good luck!

Like Mike said there are good folks over in the Neon section. I was around 16 when I started racing Mopars on dirt tracks back home in Eaetern WA. It was a lot of fun. Good Luck and again welcome aboard.
