Smile HOWDY from THE ALAMO CITY of TX

New Friends,

I just joined the forum, as I'm now the new buyer/owner of a VERY LOW mileage, one-owner, rather "Plain Jane", BLUE/GRAY (with gray cloth interior)1997 Dodge Club-Cab Ram PU, with the Cummins/5-speed manual trans.= The PU has spent the vast majority of "its life" on a large ranch, that is west of San Antonio & hasn't been licensed to highway use in about a decade.

Even though the PU probably needs little but a DEEP/THOUGH CLEANING-UP & the usual routine maintenance that all vehicles need, I'm sure that I'll have numerous questions for more knowledgeable people here, over the next weeks.

Yours, Jim

jkeaton,

Once I actually HAVE the PU in San Antonio (I have to get the title, have the PU titled/registered/licensed to drive it home.) & get it CLEANED-UP inside & out , I'll get my adult daughter to make photos & post them to the forum. = I don't think that its been even washed in years.
(Btw, I have NO camera & don't how to use anything more complicated than an old Kodak Brownie.)

I'm HOPING that I don't have to have it professionally repainted & the front seat reupholstered. = Years & years of being "a piece of off-highway ranch equipment" & being stored in a barn is NOT "ordinary use", despite the PU having only about SIXTEEN THOUSAND MILES on the "clock"..

Yours, Jim
