Default Howdy from a new member

Hello one and all. My name is Sam and I just found this interesting forum. I am a new 1st time Dakota owner with many questions about the truck so I’ll probably be talking to a few of you over the next few weeks. The truck is a 91 with the 5.2 V8. Now I’m not new to Mopar as I was raised in a C/P/D dealership owned by my parents and have worked on them myself. I got away from the mechanical end right before the Dakota came out so I have absolutely no experience with them, but from what I’ve observed it doesn’t look much different than any other Dodge, just a bit smaller. The engine in this one is locked up, but I have one from a D-250 to go in it. The look to be the same and the specs I’ve seen say that they are, so we’ll see. Of course that’s another forum. [8D] Well hope to cross keys with you soon. See ya around.

Sam,

Welcome to DF. This is the place to come for getting ideas, checking out other peoples rides, asking questions and sharing knowledge. Lots of good people here. Glad to have you aboard.

Lots of Dak owners. You will fit right in. Good luck on the engine project.

James
