Hi Dodge Forum!
First of all, THANK YOU everyone here, I have already benefited a ton from having this great source of information and all your collective knowledge and experience here!
About a month ago, I bought a 1989 Dakota 2.5 for $4000. No power steering (or power anything else), manual transmission, Christmas tree warning lights on the dashboard, 147,000 miles. Sweeeeet custom camper shell that I initially intended to dump, but it's really been growing on me.
Thanks to this forum (with a little help from the Haynes manual and the Factory Service manual), I've got all the dash lights off and I've been progressively fixing up the other little gremlins. Next thing to tackle is wiring!
I'll post pics soon, and you'll see me over in the Dakota forums with some questions right away.
