Default Buyin an SRT-4 neon

Hello All

I am new to the Doge scene. I (used to be) CHEVY guy all the way.. now I am trading my 99 S-10 in on a SRT-4. Finance gentleman at Heartzeim Dodge is working on the details as I write this...

I could not beleive the specs I have read about on this Car.

anyway I am going to be doing a lot of reading here today.

and I am happy to have transfered to " The Dodge Side" :-)

I know how it is. I had a 2001 Silverado. And traded it in for a neon SXT a few weeks ago. I will never go GM again because their powertrain warranty is crap. They only have a 36,000 mile warranty for everything and when I hit 37,000 the 2nd gear in my transmission went out. I went with the neon for econimical reasons, but once I am back to stable I want a dodge dakota R/T, or get the dodge ram hemi. That is a probably a few years away, so by then they may have even a better truck.

Welcome tyo the dodge side.

What color is the SRT-4?

You're going to LOVE the SRT-4, it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on!!!
Are you planning on modding it??? BTW, be sure to get an "oil catch can", the sooner the better. The engine will blow oil past the PVC valve which will gunk up your engine over time. It's not a major issue, most turbos do the same thing. You can buy one for about $90, or make one for about $21 (very easy).....[sm=smiley14.gif]
