Default New guy with some questions!

Hey there, everybody. I am new to the forum, from Mckinney, TX!
I am a proud new owner of an SRT-4, and am doing some upgrades.
I heard that this was the best place on the net to get to talk to some people that would know what is going on.
I got myself a "fresh air intake" form mopar, and had it installed by the dealership (they said that I had to to keep my warantee intact!), and I dont notice any change in the power of the car. There is also very little difference in the sound of the engine! I was under the impression (I was told from others) that I would experience 5-7 more HP, and about the same in gas mileage.
There is also now a weird dripping/clicking in my engine that I cannot locate or understand. I say dripping, because that is what it sounds like when I start my car from a stop in first gear. It sounds like there is water or some other fluid sloshing around. I dunno!
I DO LOVE THIS CAR!!! and I want to make it faster!
The dealership says that I cannot put a blow-off valve on the car because it keeps the turbo running longer and the wastegate actuator open longer. According to them, it voids my warranty. And the turbo upgrades do too!
What are you guys and gals out there doing that I can do too, to upgrade my SRT-4??? Please HELP!!!
Thanks!

Dude, your dealer is giving you a line of s**t. They have to PROVE the mod(s)you put on your car are the reason for a failure of the stock parts. A Mopar BOV was installed on my SRT-4 by the dealer with no problem and I have had engine related issues since then. The dealer fixed them with no problem and no cost to me.

Stand your ground and don't let them try to boss you around.......(and read your ownership paperwork to understand your rights).
