Hey Caprice SS, welcome to DF. Here is some links on the Challenger concept.

The most impressive thing to me is the fact that the concept that has the 6.1L HEMI in it has similar acceleration times as the supercharged Shelby Mustang GT500 does, when the GT500 is rated at having more horsepower and torque. In a past Motor Trend review of the Magnum SRT-8 which shares this engine, they found that the 6.1L HEMI like the elephant 426 HEMI is completely underrated in the horsepower and torque category, and really produces the same horsepower as the 426 HEMI did (467 hp). The price I have heard rumored is between $35,000-$40,000 for this model and I think I heard the GT500 was supposed to cost over $45,000. It will be fun to watch those to cars battle each other.
Allpar offers information to other Chrysler products and can teach you a lot about the secrets to the different cars. If you have any questions please ask. We will be happy to answer your questions.

Here's the place where you can contact DCX to tell them what you think of the Challenger. I sent them one; you will basically get an e-mail form letter response, but it's probably worth the effort for sheer numbers of responses to convince them to build it!

That's excellent info, thanks so much for doing that! Many of those are shared with GM vehicles so it looks like I'll just have to learn only a few. Great idea to do that!

Everyone here has been very cool about having a Chevy guy in their midst - thanks for the kind welcome and offer of help.
