Chopper info.
Hello everybody,I normally live on Mustang web sites but when the transmission started going crazy in my wifes minivan I came here and looked up several threads about trannys. The topics narrowed the problem down to a probable sensor defect.I replaced the easiest sensor to get to and so far the problem has dissapeared. So since you helped me,and surely saved me some $$$$,I will help as many of you as I can.
I am 47 years old and employed by a major railroad as a locomotive engineer.I have a 1994 1200 H-D Sportster with significant modifications done to the engine that I use to outrun crotch rockets.A couple of years ago I finished a complete build up of a 1942 Chopper using an extremely rare 74 cubic inch Flathead engine. My wife ,Mrs.Chopper, also has her own 96 1200 Sportster Custom.
We bought a 1960 Cessna 172-A four years ago and have been flying and restoring it a little at a time when $$$$ come available.
We bought an 04 Mustang GT new and have been modding it.I get all the benefits from this,Mrs.Chopper doesn't like the car because "I can't see out".
I have several years of mechanical experience and will be looking in a few times a week to see if there's anything I can give usefull advice on.My answers are not the end all be all by any measure but hopefully I can contribute something.
So hold on,keep your hands inside the car at all times, and remain seated untill the ride comes to a complete stop.Alright,,,let,s go.

Hey Chopper, nice to see that you're showing some enthusiasm from the other side of the fence. Despite being a Dodge site, we've got a few guys around here that are loyal to a few different car manufacturers. This is simply a place that people can come to recieve help with their Dodge cars and show some brand enthusiasm.
Nice job with the restorations, I'd love to see some pictures of your work as they become available.
Stick around long enough and I'm sure you'll meet a few people that you'll get along really well with. Enjoy your stay.
