Greetings,
My name is Jeffrey Spiers, 22, currently living in Tempe, AZ to attend Collins College for ultimately a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Networking. I always loved the body design of dodge trucks and I bought my first one in 2004. It was a 1997 Ram 1500 Laramie Edition, 5.9lt Magnum v8 White Body - Grey side panel/Red side stripe and flowmaster exhaust. I fell in love with the truck the moment I saw it and had to buy it, and buy it I did. The previous owner kept it in impecable condition both inside and out. However 11 months later in was totaled on the interstate by some irresponsible teenagers(I was living in Louisiana at the time, that's where I'm from). Now I'm driving a 1999 Ram 1500 v6, while it may be 2 years newer it doesn't hold the same appeal as the '97 I previously ownd. It's a little dinged up and could use a paint job and a little engine work but it gets me around. When I'm finished with school here in Arizona my intentions are to track down and find a '97 like the one I ownd previously and restore it to excellent condition, the new trucks are nice but the first one holds a spot in my heart. When I find one and begin restoring/modding it I'll have a large task on my hands because I am not the most mechanically inclined guy out there. I do love the truck and will learn whatever I need to in order to make it a high quality restoration and possibly end up being a hobby for me. So that's me and my truck(s), I'll probably end up lurking more than I post but I'll be around none-the-less.
