Default Hi All

Just wanted to drop in and say hi. New to the forum as of today. Just bought my first Dodge, so figure this was the place to be 8~)

Was looking for a Cuda, but ran accross a 1972 Charger in my travels and it was numbers matching factory stock and I just couldn't pass it up.

Planning on a body off restoration this winter - get to break in my new garage 8~)

Anyway, Hi to all. Will be seeing you around here, I'm sure

Ok, new at this forum stuff but I will try and post a pic or two

This is the way I found the car - it runs and was on the road registered in 1993 - There is very little rust on the car and everything seems to work.
The marker lights and charger emblems are in the trunk. The half vinyl top is shot, but the roof under it is very solid.

Welcome to the site. It really is amazing the conditions those old cars can be in for so long and still stand up. If that was a car built today there would be very little metal left on it. The plastic would still be there but thats it. Looks like a great project. Enjoy yourself and keep us updated on your progress.

Yes, I agree, that's when they made cars to last. I grew up with cars like that. They were made out of real/thick metal 8~)))

Thanks again
