Another new guy!!
Hey!!!

Just got my 2004 SRT-4 this last monday!!! Electric Blue Viper seats, Sunroof,

EGT, oil press two guage pillar pod, BOV, short throw shifter, K&N, Autometer

shift light dyno results: 231.7 HP to the wheels 258 lbs. of torq!!!!! Seems to be a lot of wind noise and road noise at anything above 35mph is this normal???? Are those performance numbers good for an 04 or just average???? Does anyone know when the Stage 2 is coming and how much?? Would there be any point to the Stage 1 for an extra 8 HP or is the 240 rating conservative?? I could go on forever with this. Oh one more thing how tough are these things has anyone had any trouble. I had a 1993 Dodge Daytona Iroc R/T New and had nothing but trouble with it. I got it with 6 miles on it and it had a blown headgasket and cracked head from the factory. I guess I'm dating myself if I owned a New 1993. Anyway somebody write back!!!!!!!

Hey man, enjoy the new beast! I'm a newbie myself, this is actually my first post. I have an '03 SRT-4 with some mods.

To answer your question about the stage kits - The '04 already has stage one installed I believe. That's why the price and HP ratings went up. If you want some serious kick right away, check out the TurboXS stage 1 kit. I have it and man is it fun! I actually upgraded to the High Performance Boost Controller rather than the Standard one though.

Enjoy! Oh, and watch out for the check engine light. That's my only problem so far.

Another new guy!!
WELCOME TO DodgeForum!! I hope you stick around and are active... Please post some pictures of your awesome ride!
The Stage 2 was slated for Christmas release, but Mopar has slacked some and it doesn't look like that'll happen now. As for price, it's in the air but we should know a roundabout figure soon... I've gotten several updates on the Stage 2 from Chrysler, but they are holding back facts on it. We should no more soon.
I've heard wonderful things about the Stage 1, although I don't know of anyone here on DF with it yet. But for those I know who have it, they've raved.
I believe you will need the Stage 1 to go to the Stage 2... but until I know what exactly is coming from Mopar on this Kit, I can't say for sure.
But as soon as the alert goes out... I'll get it and post the details!!
Welcome again to both of you Chris Lindback and BBY-Vipr!!
