Newbie with a question.
Hi all,
Yes, I'm a newbie to this board, but not to Dodge products having owned a 1999 Durango 4x4 V8. It was the wife's ride, kids left for college so she sold it to buy a more sporty (and economical) vehicle. Now I'm in the market for another SUV. Between us, we've owned most every brand, got good service from the Durango and I've included the new design in my search.
Just yesterday, I drove a number of Durango variants, from the V6 SLT 4x2 to a 4x4 HEMI Limited. All drove fine. For my use I liked the V6 best, it seemed to have enough grunt for normal driving, felt lighter in the front end, and is advertised with slightly better fuel mileage.
I rarely pull a trailer and then it's lightly loaded with mulch, so that's not much of concern. But, I've not much knowledge of the 3.7L V6.
Can any of you help with a description of the engine, reliability, etc.
