New Durango owner and original owner of 89' Daytona ES
My first dodge was a 89' Daytona which I still own with 50k. My second Dodge was a 89' Dynasty (I hear you laughing) with a strong 2.5 that I traded off with 160k and was still running as good as when I got it thanks to 3000 mile synthetics. I have since owned a 2000 1500 ram club cab 4x4 with a 318. I then moved on to the 02 1500 sport truck that was red with a 4.7. Then I moved on to the 04 2500 club cab sport hemi (black). This was a great truck! my only complaint was the 3/4 ton gearing which took out a little off the line power. I sold this to a friends friend recently and I am having some regrets. I now have a 06' Durango limited with all the bells and whistles. I must say that all the options are nice, but I feel like I I'm driving a minnivan.(the dash is extended and the hood is short just like the minnivans) The 18" wheels are nice but there is a limited number of tires available. The fit and trim has many problems--the rear tailgate is way off and the dealers body shop is at a loss as how to adjust it because the slots are too short. Anyway, thats my Dodge history and greetings to all---I have really enjoyed this site so far.
