New here!!!
Hello everybody! Well, I am not new to Dodges, but I am new to these forums. My dad and I are really into cars and trucks and have amassed quite a collection that we pretty much share. Here is a list of the Dodges that we have had over the years in order...
1999 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 - 5.4L V-8, Extended Cab, Solar Yellow, 3" lift, American Racing wheels, 31" Pro-Comp tires, Flowmaster exhaust, AirRaid intake, Mopar light bar, KC lights. - SOLD.
2001 Dodge Ram 1500 - V-6, Regular Cab, 2WD, Gray, Eagle Alloy wheels, 31" Pro-Comp tires. - SOLD.
2004 Dodge Durango - V-8, White, Stock. - SOLD.
2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 - Laramie, Cummins Turbo Diesel, Mega Cab, Inferno Red, Stock for now. Plans for complete Banks makeover, wheels, tires, flares, brushed handles. - CURRENTLY HAVE.
We absolutely love the Cummins Diesel! This truck replaced our 2005 Ford F-150 as family truck / tow vehicle and what a world of difference. Although they are both very nice and comfortable inside, the Dodge has more room, better features, and can tow like none other! We had our first towing experience this past weekend going from Las Vegas to Huntington Beach, CA and let me just say that the Dodge Diesel got better gas mileage towing a 4000 lb. car on a trailer than the F-150 got without towing anything! The best part is that the Dodge isn't even halfway through its break-in period yet! I was comfortable the entire way down there and got there without stopping with a little less than half a tank left. This truck will stay around for a long time.
On a side note, I am not new to forums, and I know how they can be so let me just say this before I get flamed. I am not some 16 year old kid who drives his daddy's cars. We honestly share all of our collection no matter which one of us purchased the actual car. He owns some, I own some, but we don't look at it that way at all. I just wanted to clear that up before I got stereotyped
. I apologise to anybody who thinks that this isn't necessary, but I have been on forums for years and 9 out of 10 times people will talk down to me because they don't understand the situation.
Oh, and will try and remember to scan some pictures of the Dakota and the Ram 1500. I never took pictures of the Durango, but it was just stock so you know what that looks like
. I will try and snap some pics of the 2500 as well, but that needs to be washed
