Hello all, I just purchased a 2006 Magnum SXT and I love it!!!! No, it's not the 5.7, but it's still quick. Any suggestions on engine break in. I have heard several different methods but i want to maintain as much power as possible with and not damage the engine. Also, any suggestions on first oil change and type of oil? I bought the car with 4 miles on tach.

Welcome to Dodge Forum!! I'd go by what the owners manual says regarding break in and oil and you can always ask your dealer (get the name/date of whom you spoke to). Some Dodge's do best on synthetic oil......I think it's a trend for the future due to the increased gas mileage and longer oil change intervals......IMHO
