This is my first Daytona (Im excited about it), its a Shelby Z Turbo II 5-spd. My brother hooked me up with this car for $500. The guy who had it bought it when they first came out, he cracked the head on it, bought a new one, got bored with it and never finished working on it. So now my brother and I get to finish the head, and put some more parts and stuff on it. If anyone has any helpful hints or ideas

I just bought myself the same car for $300!! Mine's an 1987 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z TII 5 Speed, black with T-Tops:
It has a very slight lifter noise, and I've order the parts to replace it. I'm very excited to get out on the road.
What color is yours? Do you have the Leather or Cloth interior... I wish mine was cloth... it's Leather... WAY HOT!! LOL!! I'm thinking about getting seat covers. LOL!!
