Default Ram & TX NEWB

Hey guys

Not only am I new to San Antoio, but now I'm new to the Dodge world as well. I traded in my 03 Ford Ranger EDGE for an 05 Ram 1500 SLT QC... at a Ford Dealership no less. I test drove the 1500 QC and the F150 S/Crew and really didn't have very many complaints about either of them. The Ram won b/c of price, stock exhaust sound, maybe a little more umph with that noise, and the overhead console. Styling it might have edged the F150 too (though I do like the "step" side F150 beds... but the one I was looking at didn't have it)

So, here I am! Not new to modding or online forums but just sayin hey! And we'll see if my loyalties change with time. All I can say is at least it's not a Chevy!

I already ordered one of those Air Ram Jet Streams off ebay. Gotta support the innovative little guys! And I picked up some polished stainless steel door handle covers (Centers only) at Autozone. They add a little touch of bling haha

Here's a couple pics of the Ram from the Dealer

And here's my EDGE wheelin back in NJ

3.0 / Auto / RWD. 3-4" of lift. 33" Cooper SSTs (New). Powertrax No-Slip. Warn xD8000 portable. And more!

The Ram is gonna be a street queen and maybe used to tow a WW if need be. A lift could be in store for her down the road for fun (might level her sooner though... she's got some pretty bad rake)

Take care!

Hey Thanks!
I'm off of Medical Dr.. just off of I-10.

SRT-4... nice. I actually just saw one on 410 but it had blue "racing" stripes...actually it was white w/ blue not silver... anyway, thanks for the welcome!

Yeah, there's a few SRT-4s here in SA but not a bunch. I see one every few months or so.

Enjoy the site and don't be a stranger!!
