My First 4x4 Pickup
I bought a used 1995 Ram 2500 with 160,000 miles on it. It has the 5.9L Magnum V8. Had it inspected by the dealer and several things were wrong, like 4x4 didn't work, various leaks, rear end service needed, A/C not working, left front ABS and rear sensor bad, cracked windshield. Anyway have had most items except A/C repaired and so far runs and sounds good. I joined this site looking for the front ABS sensor, since the dealer said it was obsolete. Thanks to Socha_62 I found a great link to http://www.chryslerpartsdirect.com. Ordered the front and rear sensor last week. Well they called me today to tell me they sold their last left front sensor a couple weeks ago and can't get any more. So I'm back to driving like I have for decades, without ABS. I just want to thank Socha_62 and Mike at Franklin Sussex Auto Mall 888-528-2200. Even thought they didn't have the part they were very helpful and offer a good discount on parts. So if you have a spare left front ABS sensor laying around drop me a note. I might be interested.
