Default Howdy All...

Hi all. Guess I'd be the n3wb here. So, heres a bit about me an dmy car....well..mostly about the car.

It's a 1999 Plymouth Highline, debadged, 2" drop, custom dual exhaust with a 31" glasspack. Predator hood painted Dodge Silver and Deep Slate. I've got 16x6 PT Cruiser rims. Relocated the battery to the trunk, 55mm throttle body, it's got an AF/X race ECU, iceman intake, AEM timing gear, TTI UDP, Nology wires (not grounded so they are just fancy wires), the power steering and air conditioning has been removed, semi-built race ATX (not done with it yet) and I'm in the process of a turbo install.

It's got a whle bunch of other stuff done to it but I can't remember everythign off the top of my head.

Anyway, I've been in the Neon community for quite a few years and hope to be of some assistance to some of you.

Oh yeah, forgot some pics.

Those are all the pictures I've got of it at the moment, and I'm not even sure if these image tags are correct.

Outstanding!! Welcome to the site!! So glad to have you here!! I'm surprised you made the mistake of calling the PCM an ECU... Car looks great!! I hope to see you visiting often!!

Thanks. Eh...when in Rome do as the Roman's do. Somone else caled it an ECU on another thread so I figured I keep it uniform. I know it's a PCM . Anyway, hopefully I can call this my new home.

I'll have to go nab that person then... hehehe!!

Do you race your Neon? Looks like it... but it's in great shape! Any interior mods? Are the hood pins functional?

No, I don't race, I'm a driver. I'm the type of guy who gets in his car and drives cross country. Yes, the hood pins are functional. That hood cost me $1K, it's got 6 coats of primer and 3 coats of paint. So, I removed the hood latch and installed the pins. I'd like to get rid of the locks and put locking hood pins but I haven't gotten around to it.

As for interior mods I've got a few. I've added a secondary accesory lighter for my cell phone and gps, random switches that illuminate lights (driving), I've diamond plated the floor. Got a Pioneer Head unit, Pioneer speakers (6 in total) Kenwood Amp and a Kenwood Subwoofer.

I'm basically building it as a "Sunday Ice Cream" car. I've always loved to be behind the wheel and was never much into drag racing and the type of racing I'd like to do I'll never be able to afford. Rally.

Thanks. I just gone done modifying my 60MM TB. Turns out it's about 60MM on top and 55MM on the bottom.

I changed that. It's now 62MM on top and 60MM on the bottom. I may pull it all apart later to try to match the bottom of it to the top but I'm trying to figure out how I can polish the outside of it.
