Which vehicle with the HEMI do you have? I am assuming the Ram, because the LX cars tell you when you are in "Fuel Saver Mode"(only running on 4 cylinders). You cannot know when is it on or off in the Rams it runs all 8 automatically when is it under certain load, like accelerating, or going up hill... usually when just cruising it will run just the 4.
