1st time dodge owner
Hey all
Just put to bed my 88 Ford Bronco (302) that I owned for 10 years. Just picked up a 96 Ram standard cab 5.9L
Test drove about half a dozen of them. before I picked up this one cause it had decent miles for the age. Love the drive and feel of it, doesnt really drive like a truck to me.
Funny thing though is a couple days later the shifting on the tranny was reving high before shifting. Found this forum and checked every thread on trannys there were. Came across the band adj. on um, so I dropped the pan and did the adjustment on them both along with the fluid that other members used.
IT WORKED!!! Talk about a relief.
Anyway just wanted to say hi and found my new home for the Ram owner.
Will get my pic of the truck in soon with all my sig info, anyway just wanted to say hi.
