Ok bought a talon...turbo awd..i know not a dodge but at least it is mopar! anyway the guy said to increase the turbo performance to remove the waste gate. What the heck is it and is that correct advise?

im not exactly sure but I believe it dumps excess boost when you let off the throttle

The one that releases the back pressure when you let off the throttle is the blow off valve. The wastegate releases the excess pressure when max boost is achieved to keep it from over boosting.
