what would be the best (most power producing) supercharger for a 1997 dodge ram 1500 w/ a 5.9 ltr 369cid

 

Not sure what would give the absolute most horsepower, But I know the Centrifugal blowers like a Vortech or a Paxton are badass. Try the Kenne Belle site I know he does alot with 360's

ive seen the kenne bell blower on a dakota rt with a 360,and it Rocked. high 12s in the 1/4.

the guy driving it was staying in the hotel room next to us, and he was a bit of an oddball. granted, i talked to him quite a bit during the weekend, but one night i was in the nudie bar, and i was aware that he was also in there. well, evidently he started a fight, and then told the bouncer.."my buddy is gonna kick your *ss for this", and he motioned to me, so i also got thrown out. he proceeded to go ouside all drunk, and get in his truck, and he wanted to show off by doing burnouts...byt the way, it was raining very hard. well...

rain+burnouts+booze=over-revving. and over revving=thrown blower belt, and i guess it also did some other damage, but i was so pissed, i didnt talk to him for the rest of the weekend. but his truck did haul until he screwed it up.

 

I think the Kenne Bell is supposed to jack the Hp to around 400. Seems like the RT should have run quicker than high 12's if traction wasn't a problem.

ati intercooled supercharger will produce 22 hp per lb of boost on a mild modded motor .you can run 10 lbs on stock tuning with no detonation due to the fact that its air to air intercooling plus you dont have to retard timing , air to water works great if you use ice ,but one pass at the drag strip its hot again
