As I have mentioned before, I purchased a new Dodge Ram single cab equipped (sp) with the 4.7 V8 as my DD (have to save the Lightning for weekends) . My goal for this truck is hitting the 13s in the 1/4. I would like your guidance on what brand of s/c would be best for this goal. I am new to Dodge trucks so any guidance would be appreciated.
How much boost can the stock engine handle?

wait wait wait, you have a lightning.......and you want to supercharge a 4.7? [sm=confused06.gif] why don't you just use that money to drop a KB twinscrew blower into your L? Anyways, I am not sure how much the motor can handle but if I were you I would go full forged internals, you may also have to worry a bit about the tranny. I believe Kenne Bell makes a blower for the 4.7. I do know there was a special addition ram in 03 I believe that came supercharged but I can't think of who made the supercharger. I saw the truck on the show trucks and they said the S/C got them to right around 345 to wheels I believe. That's good for mid 13's I would think.
