Default interior neon laws for MA

Does anyone know the laws for interior neon in MA. I was thinking about puttin some like 10" red neons under my seat or something, nothing really, reallybright. But does anyone know if MA is strict about taht or whats legal and whats not.

My advice would be to 1) make sure it is not visible from the outside 2) put it on a switch so if you get bagged you can switch it off before the officer gets to your door.

As far as the legality of it... the way the law is written, I believe red lights are legal if they are SOLID and only visible from the rear. Flashing red is illegal altogether, and blue is illegal whether flashing or solid.
