Default 2003 ram 1500 4.7l quad

I love my truck but hate the problems... Too expensive to repair... Great truck, but has persistent cooling / overheating problems. Dealer can't seem to know what the problem is. Just spent over $700. / I took it in for overheating, towed it in / they said I needed plugs, coil and injectors flushed. $729.00 / $550. in labor alone. / came to pick it up: What about the overheating issue? I asked. oh, we can check it for you: it'll be another $99.00 diagnostic service. I said, I already paid for the diagnostics, they say: No that was for the rough idling. I said: It wasn't rough idling until it started overheating... / needless to say, I was t'd off.
I asked the mechanic, how are you going to find out what's wrong? he said, we'll beat the c**p out of it until we find something. Not very reassuring, I took the truck home and I'm still trying to figure out what to do with it. It overheats worse than before, now.
