hey everyone- new to this site and hoping to tap into some info. have a broken front axel and need to truck asap for plowing so trying to figure out 2 things. does my ram 1500 1997 have a dana 44 front axel? NAPA parts guy says can use universal if I have that and ABS brakes. can I tell from vin # bought used to do not have book ect. thanx
