"like to travel DOWN THRU" Chicago.... Are you NUTS? I avoid the City itself as much as possible. if I have the displeasure of having to do so I have found out that like 3AM is great cruise right thru, no stop n go.... I prefer living and working where I am surrounded by cornfields

i enjoy living around cornfields too but i like to go into the city every now and then. i always have my friends drive when i go through the city so i don't have to deal with the stop and go traffic

I took a train once. never again. I was coming down the last 3 steps to the platform and the damn thing blew by me like I wasnt there, so my wife and I stood there for an hour and a half waiting for the next one, had that one not come I would have been there 5 more hours til 2st one of the morning,
In that 1-1/2 hr wait in the "projects" (closest train stop to Northerly Island and Soldier field that was headed south) on that platform we coulda been HOME; no. 1-1/2 hours standing waiting for the train plus another hour and a half on the train to our stop at the end of the line, then another 40 mins driving home from the station by Governors State university. we had gone to northerly island for a concert

Yeah the city sux, i avoid it at all cost. I am surrounded by corn and lakes and wouldn't have it any othrt way. The only thing i gotta find is a good place to take the truck offroad
