Default RE: online course: Drive for Fuel Econ

I haven't visited the site, and probably won't, because I already know what it will say:
1) Don't accellerate too fast
2) Keep tire pressure at the right level, not too low
3) Turn A/C off if you don't need it
4) Reduce dead-weight (take the boxes of crap out of the truck, since you haven't touched them in 3 years)
5) Get a tune-up
6) Turn off the vehicle if it will be idling for extended periods
7) Go the speed limit, and use OD (the typical, around 55MPH is the most efficent...)

But what they need to put on sites like this is:
Warning: If you purchase a large car, truck, or SUV, you will not be getting great gas mileage, no matter how grandma-like you drive. So, if you want 30MPGs stop bitching, and buy a compact or mid-size car.
