They need a 300hp AWD car.
So does Dodge.

They already have the Charger R/T that produces 350hp.

I know what you saying though, and I agree with you, but right now Pontiac is in greater need of it because Dodge has a pony car that is about to be released, for right now they have a 600hp supercar, they have a 425hp sedan, and a 285hp compact wagon. Chevrolet is doing great for a base model division with the Corvette, and the upcoming Camaro boosting their performance image. Pontiac only has the 361hp G8 GT and the 260hp Solistice GXP that are doing anything to help their performance image and it shares the Solistice's performance with the Sky.

Starting price of $22,995 with only a few extra options available (LSD, sunroof, met. paint, rear wing)...not too bad GM.

You idiot! you made me laugh so hard I spilled my coke!

i wholeheartedly agree though. honestly--I'd almost be more interested in the 08 model 4.7 v-8 in a dakota--making 300+ horse. If only they offered a standard cab, short bed, 5 (or6) speed 2WD dakota with that setup i think they might have my money---tons of fun, more practical, and better gas mileage. Or squeeze 280-300 horse out of the new 4.0 6-cylinder van motor in an Avenger with a 5 speed (since it doesn't need to pull around 3000lbs of people and possibly tow 2000 the engine could be a little higher-strung in an avenger.)
