My dad bought a Tundra about 6 months ago after having his 2003 Hemi Ram QC 4x4. He loved the Dodge, said it was the best truck he ever had.

He loves his new Tundra. The engine puts out a lot more power than the Hemi, it tows more, gets better gas mileage, the interior is great, and its had no problems so far. Its a great truck, and probably is the best half ton on the market, IMO.

This is all coming from a 2004 Hemi Ram owner. That Tundra 5.7 is really powerful, and accelerates very quickly even in his CrewMax 4x4. Just being honest.

Funny how Ford is critical of outboard shocks and "C" channel frames when that's how Ford trucks were built until the current design.

If you watch the video you have to admit their new frame has less flex though...

I'm not disputing that at all; however, I think my Dodge's "K" style frame is just as strong. Either way, Ford trucks still lack torque under the hood until you get past the 5.4L engine.

Oh agreed about the torque, I just hate seeing toyota fanboys declare it the best 1/2 ton....
