Ford will advance its Sport Trac concept a few notches with the New York debut of the Sport Trac Adrenalin concept. The SVT-engineered concept is the strongest indication yet that Ford intends to produce the Explorer-derived pickup and that SVT's new role will evolve to cover new vehicles outside the Mustang and F-Series trucks. The Adrenalin, Ford says, "will redefine the segment with an unmatched combination of performance, agility, utility, and passenger carrying ability." Backing up those claims is a supercharged version of Ford's 4.6-liter V-8 worth 390 hp, a six-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and stability control.
