Its the 65-68's that are commanding the big bucks for sure! Stealth I'm confused so is it the orginal GT 500 (67) or is it just the scoopfest 69-70 that you don't like? My personal fav is the 500 KR(built in 68 only) for personal reasons, and because they were the best Shelby Mustangs ever built!

I don't favor the 1970 model.

I know this is going to seem like splitting hairs, but technically, 'cuda's, along with Challenger's, Camaro's, Mustang's and Firebird's were considered "Pony Cars," not muscle cars.

 

Whow, so much bs in one thread. That car will be an outstanding success for Ford even if it is a decal car. They can charge all that money because they will get it. Most young guys dont appreciate the name, and the old guys are the only ones that can afford it. Its the same with a lot of these high priced cars.

And the stripe issue - The Viper is an (AC) Cobra ripoff in that repect. Can't say a Shelby (inspired, in the case of this new one) product doesnt deserve them.
