Heh. Everyone else goes and releases a new or significantly revised small pickup in the last 2 years and here's Ford slapping another new nose on the 1998 Ranger. Meanwhile their sales have slid so they're now something like 4th in a market they led in sales for so long, and the gap between Ranger and F150 is big enough they lose people like me who want something bigger than Ranger but not as large as that overweight almost-3/4-ton F150. What are they thinking?!?

 

Even the people that build it, hate it and won't buy it.

 

Please everyone who hasn't realized this yet, realize this now....

The Ford ranger is the biggest peice of man-made garbage on earth. It's an engineering nightmare. It's reliability is 0.

Bwahaha!!! YES!! It CAN be done! Ford has managed to make the Ranger EVEN UGLIER!! I hadn't thought it possible but now... ah... what a comforting thought.

And trust me, I knew the Ranger was one of the biggest P.O.S.'s ever, my best friend's cousin got a '98 Ranger as his first vehicle last year. It's one of funniest damn things I've ever seen to watch him get in and out of it (the cousin weighs like 350 lbs... and it's single cab) the thing drops like 3 inches lower. Even funnier is the fact that it isn't the cousin's weight that makes it sink so low, it drops the same amount when my friend gets in by himself and he only weighs around 120 lbs. And when he starts it!! Lmao. It makes me strongly suspect that Ford may have intended to make it a lawnmower but changed their minds last minute and gave it a "truck" body. Or at least some fiber glass in the shape of a truck.

If only the platform wasn't older then me, then maybe it could be a decent truck
