Toyota recalls double for 2005

It may seem as if Toyota can do no wrong these days but the reports are in and Toyota doesn't look quite so good. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration data on recalled vehicles through November 17th show the number of Toyota's with problems have doubled in the past year.

In 2004 1.1 million Toyota's were recalled and records show 2.4 million vehicles have been recalled this year. In comparison for 2003 Toyota on recalled about 210,000 vehicles.

Industry analysts say that this trend isn't uncommon for a company that is expanding as rapidly as Toyota. Or could this be a sign that Toyota is starting to slip? Read the full article after the jump.

Toyota is expanding so quickly, no wonder there are mass problems.

Toyota is soon going to pay the price of being on top. The news will expose more and more as they get bigger. DMX will have probably run under the radar for a little bit.

But they are number two going for number one, that's all that matters to them. Plus I like their vehicles

I highly doubt that. The media and auto mags are in love with the Jap Crap, and think they can do no wrong. Toyota pays these auto mags big bucks to rave their cars up, so there is no way in hell the public will see that report on any news broadcast or auto mag.
