BMW 3 Series (Top Safety Pick): good front, good side, acceptable seat/head restraint
Lexus IS (Top Safety Pick): good front, good side, acceptable seat/head restraint
Acura TSX: good front
Infiniti G35: good front
Hyundai Sonata: good frontal, acceptable side, good seat/head restraint
Pontiac G6: good front
Ford Fusion: acceptable front, poor side (Only car to recieve "acceptable" front and "poor" side)

If Ford is such a great car company, they would be fixing this issue for 2007 by strengthening the beam inbetween the doors. It won't happen though...[]

Ford has not been able to repeat the same front crash test results as this group did (a small foot injury).

Ford wants them to retest the fusion with the optional side air bags (I think standard in 07).

The fusion is not unsafe.
