The beauty of America is that we have the right to buy trucks (that we may or may not use) that get crappy gas mileage. We pay for it at the pump, with our insurance, and during registration. I don't use my truck for work, but I love having the satisfaction of knowing I can tow 8,000 lbs if I need to. Or I can buy a couch and put it in the back. Or, I can rest assured if I slam into that POS 333 mpg contraption - it'll slide nicely underneath my skid plates
