Default 1980 dodge aspen

how yo doing my name is craig, and i was recently given a 1980 dodge aspen that was going to be junked. It was my grandmothers and she passed and it had been sitting for about 5 yrs. The car i believe has an inline 6 with 50K original miles/motor/trans. I was wondering should i junk this or can i drop a new motor in it? Has never been in an accident and interior and exterior are good, except the fading silver paint. any help would be appreciated. Also not many people know about this car so any facts about it would be nice. thanks

Why junk it? Looks to be solid and serviceable- I'd just do what ever it needs to be roadworthy again and drive it!

Local kid had a 1980 aspen that had a /6 in and yank it out and put a 440 into. Never got the car running and he sold it.
