Default '63 Sports Fury ????

I'm not a brainiack but when someting makes an impression it sticks in my brain forever, when I was 13 a guy that was dating my aunt bought a brand new 1963 Sports Fury convertible, this car was sooooooo cool !!! it was black with a black top and black interior, it had bucket seats, 4 on the floor and powered by a 383 4 brl. , I remember all the sounds it made, the throaty 4 barrel and dual exhaust, the winy 4 speed, even the sound of the starter. This was my first muscle car experience and I swear it wore the Sports Fury badges, wierd thing is I never saw another '63 Sports Fury since, only '64 and up, could this have been a late '63 ? I know it was late in '63 when he bought it cause he burnt the clutch out in a snow drift, awsome car !!!!!!

The 63 Sport Fury was fairly popular, by Plymouth standards in 63, anyway. I have a friend who has one, was an original 383 4-speed car, now has a transplanted 426 Stage 3 Max Wedge in it.
