I removed the dash panel to the left of the steering wheel. I had to disconnect the components -- headlights, wiper, window washer, etc. I am finding that reinstalling the panel is absolutely impossible. The wires/connectors extend a maximum of 1.5 inches beyond their openings. This makes reconnecting impossible. A local mechanic recommended taking the harness from the clips beind the dash. I see no clips; the harness is already free-floating. I have consulted local mechanics and nobody wants to tackle the job. I'm thinking of getting drastic... Cutting all the wires, and splicing in about seven more inches. I would gladly pay an expert to reassemble the dash without splicing, but, as I say, nobody wants to do it. What do y'all think?
