I have recently purchased a very nice original 1979 Dodge Magnum GT. The only major issue is that the windshield wipers are inoperative. The issue is that the windshield wiper drive link is not connected to the wiper motor assembly. It is just loose from the wiper motor but connected to the wiper connecting link. It appears that the car is missing the hardware to connect the wiper link to the motor and I don't know what it needs. Does anyone know what parts that I'll need to connect the link to the wiper motor? (A diagram of the wiper setup would also be greatly appreciated.) Also, does anyone have a windshield washer jar and motor that is specific to the 1978-1979 B-bodies as I need one of those too?

 

You should be able to get those parts off of a diplomat or cordoba. time to hit the junk yard

 

I should have looked here first, I just joined and posted with the exact same problem. Did you ever have luck finding the parts?

 

CarQuest (or NAPA) had one reconditioned for my 1971 Demon 340.
