Default Mopar Performance PCM - Where to buy?

I posted under the Ram section, but I might need a new PCM for my truck since I've swapped from an auto trans to a manual, might as well go with a performance model. Anyone have a line on a place to get one for a good price? I'm already way overbudget on this project, so any decent deals will be greatly appreciated.

i bought mine from mancini racing in Roseville, Michigan. Price wasn't too bad. It is about $200 if you send your old PCM back to them. I kept mine so i can use it in the winter to save money on gas, damn Natural gas bills. On my 5.2 it has some wicked top end power compared to the stock one plus a k&n intake helps as well.

Most good speed shops carry the factory performance parts as well as others.

Hey Snafu or purdueranger, got a couple questions for you.

ORIGINAL: purdueranger

i bought mine from mancini racing in Roseville, Michigan. Price wasn't too bad. It is about $200 if you send your old PCM back to them. I kept mine so i can use it in the winter to save money on gas, damn Natural gas bills. On my 5.2 it has some wicked top end power compared to the stock one plus a k&n intake helps as well.
I am also looking to install a Mopar Performance PCM in my 5.2 to compliment my bored throttle body. However, the PCM comes with a warning that you can only use premium fuel, and that you should not tow. Have you found this to be true? If it increases torque and horsepower, why would you not be able to tow? Seems like towing would be improved too.

I have read about people (like you) who switch them out for winter or towing use. Is it easy to switch it out? How does your pickup respond to going back and for between PCM's?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
