Default Code P0455

My 2003 Dodge Dakota V6 3.9L truck has had the engine light come on and it is because of the code P0455 which is a EVAP Control System Leak Detected (gross leak). Reading a Haynes repair manual it says that most of the time it is a lose hose or charcoal canister to blame. Some people I have talked to said it could be the gas cap, so I replaced and it didn't fix it. It wouldn't be the Purge Control Solenoid or Lek Detection Pump would it? Has anyone had this happen and what was their promblem they fixed? Any help is great.

Default RE: Code P0455

You need to get a smoke test done. They fill the system with "smoke" and watch for it to come out. There will be you leak. You can buy a kit to do it your self but I'm not sure of the cost.
