2007 One Lap of America aka "The Cannon Ball Run"
Hey all...
Just a reminder that One Lap of America is coming, May 5th is the start.
This year will be a tour of central North America, visiting Tire Rack, Plymouth, Autobahn, Mid-America, Miller Motorsports Park, Hallett, IRP, Mid-Ohio, and back to Tire Rack.
If you get a chance to stop out to see the circus, you'll have to agree that it's much better than being at the day job.
Even if you can't make it, we're running the video project again, with even more improvements than last year.
We'll have multi-cameras inside at least 12 different cars, with outside handheld shots from at least four locations of each track. We'll have driver interviews and cover a lot more of the paddock shenanigans as well.
You'll be able to view the videos at http://MoparsAtTheTrack.com, just click the "Onelap Videos" tab on the navigation bar.
While you're there, weigh in on where you'd like to see Regional HPDE and Drag events held. At the bottom of the MATT forums, you'll see a "Track Rats" section, broken up by regions. Immediately after Onelap is over, we plan to begin the organization of a 2008 Regional HPDE calendar, and we'll need your input on the locations you like, and the time of year that is appropriate. If you have an event coming up, let us know and we'll add it to the Calendar of Events tab for you.
